We are seeking a passionate educator who loves working in a middle school environment and is dedicated to fostering growth and hands-on learning among our students. This 6th through 8th-grade position features a primary teaching assignment that includes sections in our wood shop and small engines classes. You will be joining a progressive Career and Technical Education (CTE) team specializing in the areas of Agriscience, Business, Family and Consumer Science, and Technology Education. Qualifications:

A current teaching license Knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities The ability to maintain a positive learning environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Current First Aid/CPR certified or must obtain Demonstrated ability to: work collaboratively carry out emergency/crisis response procedures perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position maintain confidentiality communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons Commitment to the Pulaski Board of Education Educational Philosophy Demonstrated skills in positive human relations and cultural competence Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict management
