Custom Site Solutions LLC is a growing manufacturing company specializing in the servicing of fuel tanks and power systems and the manufacturing of fuel tanks, enclosures, and stairs/platforms for power systems. We are looking to expand our team and are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineer Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering department. Job Description:
As an Engineer Draftsman, you will play a key role in the design and production processes of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings, ensuring product designs align with company standards and manufacturing requirements. Working closely with engineers and production teams, you will help bring concepts to life and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update detailed technical drawings and plans for manufacturing products using CAD software (AutoCAD & Inventor) Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability. Review and interpret technical specifications, ensuring all drafts comply with design standards, codes, and regulations. Prepare and maintain documentation for product designs, modifications, and revisions. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during production. Support continuous improvements in design processes and product development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Proven experience as an Engineer Draftsman or in a similar role within the manufacturing/power industry. Proficient in CAD software. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/structural/electrical engineering Experience in sheet metal, mechanical, or industrial design. Familiarity with 3D modeling software and CAM systems. Certification in drafting or design (e.g., Certified SolidWorks Associate).
