Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) Detailer to join our dynamic design team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents that bring innovative building concepts to life. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge design software and collaborate on diverse projects that shape the future of building construction. Duties Develop detailed shop drawings and fabrication schematics for PEMB systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation. Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into precise technical drawings. Utilize Bluebeam for markup reviews, document management, and efficient communication of design revisions. Prepare comprehensive schematics and system designs for structural components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Assist in the development of interior design layouts, mechanical systems, and graphic representations relevant to PEMB projects. Support the drafting process by integrating architectural details using ArchiCAD, Revit, and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to streamline workflows. Qualifications Proven experience in drafting or detailing within the construction or manufacturing industry, specifically with PEMB or structural steel systems preferred. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SolidWorks, and ArchiCAD. Strong knowledge of schematics creation, system design principles, and construction documentation standards. Familiarity with graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques related to technical presentations. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of mechanical design concepts and interior design fundamentals is a plus.
