CATIA V5/V6

experience is also relevant. Strong 3D CAD modeling and parametric modeling experience required. Automotive/product design experience strongly preferred. Engineering degree is NOT required. Two-year technical degree, Associate's degree, or vocational/technical training is consistent with the target profile. HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Data export including STEP, IGES, PKG, etc. Understanding of manufacturability and tooling implications. Ability to evaluate design against performance, quality, cost, and customer requirements. Ability to identify and implement design changes to resolve product issues. Teamcenter experience preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Senior CAD Designer / Senior Product Designer / Mechanical Designer with approximately 10-20 years of hands-on automotive/product design experience. Ideal candidates will have spent the majority of their career creating and modifying 3D parts and assemblies and should be comfortable working independently with Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Quality teams.
