Job Description

Growing engineering firm has an opening for a Solidworks Drafter/Designer. This is a contract to hire position starting ASAP!

Duties:

Produce detailed models and drawings using Solidworks
Establish/document CAD standards
Apply GD&T, sheet metal and machine design practices to support engineering projects
Support prototype testing
Build/maintain bills of materials (BOM)

Requirements:

AA/AAS degree in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology
Solidworks proficiency required
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with sheet metal and machine design
Understanding of fabrication processes and shop practices

Rate:

$31-36/hr
