CAD Drafter | Independence, MO | Full-TimeWe are a small, tight-knit company with a long history of high quality in Railroad Signal Design and Drafting. We are seeking a CAD drafter who is motivated to learn on the job. The ideal candidate should have previous AutoCAD experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge in drafting standards and techniques. The primary responsibility of this position is completing As-Built plans for railroad signaling projects, but there is room for growth for those motivated to learn.

We work in AutoCAD LT for

MacMinimum Qualifications:

Some school or work related AutoCAD drafting experience (We are open to entry level candidates 0-5 years of experience)Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and independently on redundant drawing modifications on an ongoing basis

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with AutoCAD LT programSchool or work experience with electronics or electrical circuitsAny Railroad Signal experienceKnowledge of Apple computers or MAC operating systemsKnowledge of Filemaker/Claris program would be a bonusInterest in learning railroad signaling and growing into a designer. Requires a very self-motivated person to learn on the job.
