We are a growing structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication company specializing in beams, columns, stairs, railings, and custom metalwork. We are looking for a reliable CAD Drafter to join our team and help turn engineering designs into precise shop drawings.

What You Will Do:

Create accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication (stairs, handrails, platforms). Generate field measurement layouts, erection drawings, and bills of materials. Review structural and architectural blueprints to identify discrepancies or missing information. Coordinate directly with estimators, project managers, and the shop floor to ensure fabrication accuracy.

What We Are Looking For:

Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with SDS2, Tekla, or Advance Steel is a major plus). Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, weld symbols, and connection details. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural structural design drawings. Sharp attention to detail and good mathematical skills. Previous experience drafting for a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
