Key Responsibilities Create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies Develop assembly drawings, exploded views, and installation instructions Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), material specifications, and fabrication documentation Collaborate with engineers, machinists, welders, and fabricators to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable Review designs for tolerances, fit, function, and compliance with industry standards Troubleshoot design issues and support production teams with technical solutions Maintain drawing revisions and document control Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software Strong understanding of mechanical drafting and manufacturing processes Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of welding, machining, fabrication, and assembly practices Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience with GD&T and industry drafting standards preferred Express Employment Professionals is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
