waterandcarbon.com We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Drafter specializing in pumps and piping systems to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that support the design, development, and construction of pump and blower skids, piping, and general arrangment drawings. Your expertise in 3D CAD software will be essential in translating engineering concepts into clear, accurate documentation that drives project success. Duties Develop detailed 3D CAD drawings and schematics for pump skids, vessels, piping layouts, and general arrangements using AutoCAD Plant 3D. Create accurate 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies. Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements. Develop Bill of Materials Develop Project Submittal Packages Assist with O&M (Operations and Maintenance) manuals Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical design drafting with a focus on pumps and piping systems. Extensive AutoCAD Plant 3D or other 3D CAD plateform knowledge Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, system design processes, and industry standards. Familiarity with P&IDs, schematics, and CAD documentation best practices. Technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and assembly instructions. Construction experience or familiarity with piping installation processes is advantageous. Desire and ability to learn about wastewater treatment systems operation and design.

Pay:

$70,000.00
