We are seeking an Entry-Level CAD Draftsman for a client in the Plainview, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in drafting and design. We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of drafting experience or equivalent technical schooling who are eager to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Create, update, and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements
Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy
Maintain organized electronic drawing files and project documentation
Make revisions based on feedback and project changes
Follow company and industry drafting standards Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of drafting experience OR equivalent drafting/CAD-related education
Understanding of AutoCAD
Experience with Autodesk Inventor helpful
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Drafting certification, technical degree, or related coursework is a plus
