$110,000 Position Overview A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to support the design, development, and delivery of municipal, county, state, and federal infrastructure projects. This individual will play a key role in civil engineering design, project management, client relationships, and technical leadership while contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on hydrology and hydraulics. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Professional Engineer seeking leadership responsibilities within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Civil Engineering Design Design and develop civil engineering solutions for municipal, county, state, and federal infrastructure projects. Perform engineering evaluations, design calculations, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects. Design stormwater management systems, drainage systems, collection systems, and conveyance infrastructure. Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project deliverables. Water Resources & Hydrology Design ponds, stormwater systems, drainage infrastructure, and hydraulic conveyance systems. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses utilizing approved modeling software. Support water resources planning and infrastructure improvement projects. Develop engineering solutions that comply with applicable regulatory requirements. Permitting & Regulatory Compliance Coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation. Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards and environmental regulations. Support permitting efforts throughout project lifecycles. Project Management Manage civil engineering projects from planning through completion. Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Monitor project progress while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff. Client Relations & Collaboration Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical support staff. Participate in client meetings and project presentations. Communicate project updates, technical findings, and recommendations to clients and management. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program. 10-15 years of civil engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain state licensure. Strong experience with stormwater management, drainage design, hydrology, and hydraulics. Experience with permitting and coordination with jurisdictional agencies. Project management and budgeting experience. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong client relationship management skills. Preferred AutoCAD Civil 3D experience. Microsoft 365 proficiency. Experience utilizing ICPR or other state-approved hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. Experience supporting municipal, county, state, or federal infrastructure projects.
