Job Description

Ag Ventilation Construction Engineer.

Type:

Full-time.

Focus:

Manage ventilation and air filtration programs across swine facilities.

Objective:

Optimize negative/positive pressure systems for sow farm biosecurity.

ResponsibilitiesDesign Integration:

Collaborating on ventilation and filtration specs for new facility construction.

Maintenance & Compliance:

Overseeing filter lifespans, testing, documentation, and rotations.

Performance Assessment:

Monitoring system efficiency and identifying upgrade opportunities.

Field Execution:

Leading filtration audits for filtered sow farms.

Training Delivery:

Supporting on-farm teams with daily, weekly, and monthly system checks.

RequirementsExperience Level:

Recent college graduate early in their career.

Technical Background:

Knowledge of ventilation systems, agricultural engineering, mechanical systems, or HVAC.

Professional Attributes:

Strong technical mindset, curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Core Competencies:

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and communicate across multiple locations.
