Modern Builders, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Engineer to support our Project Management team on commercial and industrial construction projects throughout Iowa. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action—coordinating information, solving problems, communicating with field personnel, and helping projects stay on schedule and within budget. The #1 Requirement Candidates MUST have extensive experience using Procore Construction Management Software. This is not a position where Procore will be learned on the job. We are looking for someone who can immediately manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, drawings, change orders, meeting minutes, and project communication within Procore. If you are not proficient with Procore, please do not apply. Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in managing multiple commercial construction projects.
• Maintain and organize all project documentation in Procore.
• Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Track project schedules and help keep projects moving forward.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assist with project budgeting and cost tracking.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor documentation.
• Support field superintendents with project administration.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Qualifications Required
• Advanced working knowledge of Procore Construction Management Software
• Commercial or industrial construction experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of project engineering or project management experience

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
