Job Description

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing all phases of structural engineering projects from concept through construction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, professional judgment, and client communication skills to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural designs. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering focus. Proficiency in Autocad LT Experience working on structural Projects from design to completion Experience in project management and scheduling Licensed PE in state of Wa & Oregon with plans to get

SE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design structural systems for commercial and residential buildings, including foundations, framing, and lateral systems Perform structural analysis and calculations Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents Review and stamp drawings as the Engineer of Record Conduct site inspections and assessments of existing structures Evaluate, select, and adapt design standards, criteria, and analysis procedures for project-specific applications Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery Communicate directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance Respond to RFIs and provide construction administration support Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes and industry standards
