About the Role We are looking for a talented Architectural Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our growing team. This role requires a balance of design creativity, technical proficiency, and project coordination skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of design tasks while working closely with senior leadership. Responsibilities Develop design concepts and carry them through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and the permitting process. Produce and coordinate detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project phases. Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning requirements, and accessibility standards. Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a flexible mindset, adaptability to changing situations, and a creative approach to challenges. Willingness and ability to grow into a leadership role by managing and mentoring 1-2 interns or junior designers. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in custom residential design. Strong proficiency in BIM and 3D modeling software (Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, etc.). Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing. Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes in the Greater Sacramento area. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
