Job Description

Senior Draftsman - High-End Residential & Commercial Construction We are an established general contractor specializing in high-end residential projects, with a growing portfolio of select commercial work. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Draftsman to join our team and play a key role in delivering detailed construction documents.
Position Overview:
The Senior Draftsman will be responsible for preparing and coordinating construction drawings for custom homes, remodels, and commercial build out projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Florida building codes, strong technical drafting skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and interior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed construction drawings and plans for high-end residential and commercial projects Interpret architectural and engineering designs into precise drafting documents Ensure all drawings comply with current Florida building codes and local regulations Coordinate revisions and updates throughout project lifecycle Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors Assist with submittals, RFIs, and document control using Procore Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing sets
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a draftsman in residential construction (high-end/custom homes preferred) Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and permitting requirements Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Revit is a plus) Experience with Procore or similar construction management software Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills

$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
