Structural Revit BIM Designer DMD & Company, LLC | Clearwater, FL Full-Time | On-Site About Us DMD & Company is a growing structural engineering firm based in Clearwater, Florida. We provide practical, construction-minded structural engineering for residential, multifamily, commercial, healthcare, industrial, and institutional projects. We are seeking a Structural Revit BIM Designer who takes pride in producing accurate, coordinated construction documents and enjoys working closely with engineers to bring building designs to life. What You'll Do Develop and maintain structural Revit models for concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-framed buildings. Prepare structural construction documents, including foundation plans, framing plans, sections, schedules, and details. Translate engineering sketches, calculations, and redlines into clear, accurate drawings. Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP backgrounds, identifying conflicts and communicating discrepancies to the project team. Manage linked models, views, sheets, templates, families, and drawing revisions. Review your work for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with company drafting standards. Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and communicating progress to project managers. Help improve Revit standards, typical details, and production workflows. What We're Looking For At least 3 years of hands-on Revit experience producing structural building drawings . Strong understanding of structural framing systems, construction documents, and detailing conventions. Ability to read architectural and structural drawings and work from engineering markups. Experience preparing coordinated drawing sets through the construction document phase. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication. Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and other designers. Willingness to work on-site at our Clearwater office. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multistory concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry, or wood-frame buildings. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Experience creating and maintaining Revit families and templates. Associate degree, technical certification, or relevant coursework in drafting, BIM, engineering technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is welcome.
