Qualified and interested candidates should submit a resume and representative samples of their work.

Qualifications:

Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. 5+ years of professional architectural experience , with significant experience in multifamily residential projects . Demonstrated experience taking multifamily projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration . Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and experience producing coordinated architectural construction documents. Strong working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, zoning regulations, and permitting processes . Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants and reviewing construction documents for completeness, coordination, and quality. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities with limited supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to producing accurate, coordinated, and complete construction documents . Preferred Experience with Florida multifamily projects, Florida Building Code, and local permitting processes . Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience mentoring or providing direction to junior architectural staff. Architectural licensure or active progress toward licensure is a plus, but not required .

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the conceptual and schematic design process for multiple projects and contribute to projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration. Develop and oversee architectural drawings, documentation, design presentations, renderings, and project deliverables . Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to establish project requirements, objectives, and design solutions. Lead consultant coordination , reviewing structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other engineering documents for integration with the architectural set. Research and interpret applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, zoning regulations, and jurisdictional requirements to inform design decisions and resolve conflicts. Coordinate and respond to municipal plan-review comments throughout permitting and review cycles. Perform QA/QC reviews of architectural drawing sets for completeness, coordination, constructability, code compliance, and overall quality. Prepare clear and comprehensive markups, direct revisions, and verify that comments have been properly addressed. Implement and maintain office drawing, documentation, and quality-control standards across assigned projects. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior designers and architectural staff . Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining project schedules and meeting established deadlines. Support construction administration , including reviewing and tracking submittals, RFIs, observation reports, and related project documentation. Stay current with developments in architectural design, building technology, codes, materials, construction practices, and industry software . Assist with identifying vendors, manufacturers, and industry professionals for office workshops, continuing education, and technical training .
