Duties Develop detailed construction and renovation plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Rhinoceros 3D. Create compelling 3D models and renderings to visualize architectural and interior design concepts. Prepare comprehensive building detail documentation ensuring adherence to building codes and safety standards. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, coordinating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones. Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs are compliant with local regulations and standards. Collaborate on lighting design projects, including lighting sales and specification for residential interiors. Produce CAD presentations and graphic designs utilizing Adobe Creative Suite for client proposals and marketing materials. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project management and documentation. Demonstrated ability in drafting, construction detail documentation, and 3D modeling for architectural design. Familiarity with building code analysis, building code compliance, and interior design principles. Excellent client communication skills to present ideas clearly and manage project expectations effectively. Experience managing design projects from initial concept through construction phases within residential interior design or remodeling contexts. Ability to handle contracts, budgeting processes, renovation planning, lighting design considerations, and managing remodeling projects.
