Responsibilities Develop conceptual architectural designs and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and other CAD software. Create compelling 3D models and renderings utilizing 3ds Max, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and BIM tools to visualize project ideas effectively. Conduct building code analysis and ensure design compliance with local construction accessibility regulations and regulatory standards. Prepare comprehensive construction documentation including construction detail documentation, specifications, and coordination drawings. Collaborate with project managers on project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating to ensure timely delivery within scope. Assist in the development of sustainable design strategies aligned with environmental standards and building information modeling (BIM) best practices. Support business development efforts by creating compelling presentations, renderings, and proposals that showcase innovative design solutions. Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD; experience with BIM tools is essential. Strong skills in 3D modeling for architectural design using Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and 3ds Max. Expertise in construction management processes including project scheduling, contracts management, and construction estimating. Knowledge of building code compliance, construction accessibility regulations, and regulatory permitting processes. Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite for presentation materials and visualizations. Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and vendor collaborations. Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and construction detail documentation accurately. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and building information modeling (BIM) workflows for efficient project delivery.
