Design & Drafting:

Create and/or modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT. Prepare design drawings, including layout and detail drawings, piping isometrics and P&ID. Detailed physical design of piping and HVAC including supports based on schematics and typical details\n

Engineering Collaboration:

Work with Mechanical Engineers to size and design piping, pumps, equipment for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and controls. Work directly with Engineering and other designers for design concept interpretation\n3

D Modeling & BIM:

Experienced with 3D space and building information management (BIM). Can perform internal reviews and clash detection of designs using NAVISWORK or REVIT. Can create and modify REVIT families and incorporate them into design\n

Field Work:

Perform walkdowns at client sites and generate walkdown reports\n

Quality & Standards:

Conduct self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final product. Understand AutoCAD national standards. Display high attention to details; perform peer checks for other designers\n

Leadership & Mentorship:

May review the work of other designers/drafters and provide mentoring and leadership. Meet applied time goals set for position/discipline\n

Communication & Organization:
