The candidate will work directly under the supervision of landscape architects in preparing conceptual, design development, and construction drawings. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and estimating is required. The candidate must have strong graphics skills with both digital media and hand sketching. Working knowledge of swimming pools, outdoor structures, hardscape, drainage, construction means and methods, and scheduling is preferred.

Essential Duties:

Complete design assignments on various projects. Complete accurate design assignments on various projects in a fast-paced environment. Prepare both 2D and 3D design presentations. Research, prepare, and coordinating municipal permitting. Effectively communicate and coordinate with various design professionals including interior designers, engineers, architects, and landscape architects.

Skill Requirements:

Understanding of basic design principles associated with Landscape Architecture.

Software:

AUTOCAD, SketchUp, Photo Shop, Lumion and MS Office. Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly in verbal and visual form. Strong organization and time management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Landscape Architecture or associated field preferred.

Experience:

AutoCAD:

1+ year required

Architectural Design:

1+ year required

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
