About the Role ATC is seeking a Civil Design Engineering Intern to support the work of our Design Engineers and Designers. You'll contribute to real-world utility projects while gaining experience in civil design and transmission engineering practices. Key Responsibilities
Acquire and organize engineering records and data for use in design development
Participate in material procurement and support project design documentation
Assist in preparing detailed drawings and conducting structural analysis
Review and integrate field markups into finalized as-built drawings
Update asset databases and confirm field conditions to ensure design accuracy
Review external engineering consultant scopes of services for cost, schedule and project scope alignment
Occasionally participate in field work to verify design implementations What You'll Bring You're a bachelor's degree student in Civil Engineering with:
Interest in utility design and infrastructure development
Working knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
A valid driver's license for occasional field visits
