The Electronic Technician performs a wide range of installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks on production equipment and automated systems. You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and working closely with the automation team.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support by delivering clear, effective written and verbal communication to employees throughout the facility. Interpret, edit, and generate 2D electrical schematics for automated machines Expedite repairs and improvements by performing machine troubleshooting, wiring tasks, prototype work, tool‑design implementation, and software programming or upgrades as needed. Complete assigned work orders in a timely, accurate, and organized manner to support production needs. Assist with documentation by helping develop set‑up instructions, operating procedures, and maintenance plans for automated machinery. Support facility operations by performing facility‑related tasks as directed by the Lead Controls Engineer Maintain a safe and organized workspace by keeping equipment and work areas clean and following all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required; specialized training is preferred. Candidates should have one to three years of experience with three years preferred Understanding of electronics demonstrated through basic knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and electronic systems. Knowledge of electronic components including how controls and electronic equipment operate in a manufacturing environment. Experience with electronic maintenance gained through hands‑on repair and upkeep of various types of equipment. Strong professional skills including deadline responsiveness, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, independence, and attention to detail.
