Job Description

Responsibilities:
Read and draw prints and schematics Repair components Analyze and evaluate circuit boards for repair Service plant equipment, machines, microprocessor-based controls, instrumentation, and solid-state controls Responsible for PM's and repairs of all plant equipment Plan, layout, and perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair of all plant equipment Make all necessary welding and perform minor masonry work Use measuring devices (precision equal to machinist) such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, and other measuring devices necessary to troubleshoot and repair equipment Repair and maintain electric motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical and mechanical control systems, lighting systems, and power transmission systems
Qualifications :
Ability to use multi-meter to check live circuit Ability to safely rig machine parts for removal from equipment Ability legibly and accurately complete all paperwork High school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in maintenance related activities 2-year Technical degree in related discipline will substitute for related work experience Qualified in general industrial electricity (440v, motors, low voltage controls) Working knowledge of PLC Read and draw prints and schematics Knowledge of basic maintenance tools such as wrenches, power tools, hand tools, arc, mig and tig welding and acetylene torch acquired through certified technical degree or 5 years comprehensive experience in maintenance of similar equipment at a manufacturing plant Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Experience in welding/fabrication of heavy and light sheet metal Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

Full-time Pay:
$24.00 - $33.00 per hour
