Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Night Shift Laser Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Mazak

NEO 3015

15kW laser with full automation , ensuring precision cutting of metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time, night shift position working four 10-hour shifts each week (Monday through Thursday). Duties Set up, load, and operate the Mazak

NEO 3015

15kW fiber laser with automated material handling systems. Interpret and work from blueprints, CAD files, and cut lists to ensure accurate part production. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Perform routine machine maintenance and notify the maintenance team of any significant issues. Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Optimize nesting and material usage to reduce waste. Accurately record production data and complete shift documentation. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient workflow. Skills Experience operating Mazak lasers preferred (especially the

NEO 3015

15kW or similar models). Prior experience with automated laser systems is strongly desired. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency with measuring instruments and quality control procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 60 lbs. Willingness to work consistent night shifts (7 PM - 5 AM, Mon-Thurs). High school diploma or GED not required; technical training or certifications a plus.
