Role Description The Mechanical/ADAS Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH, responsible for performing ADAS calibrations, wheel alignments, and vehicle diagnostics in accordance with OEM specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating calibration equipment, verifying sensor alignment, and documenting all work performed for accuracy and compliance. The technician will inspect vehicles for mechanical and electronic issues related to ADAS systems, perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, and support troubleshooting for complex calibration challenges. This role collaborates with shop staff and service partners to clarify work orders, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. The technician is expected to follow established procedures, meet turnaround targets, and contribute to continuous improvement of calibration processes. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering or automotive repair environments. Hands-on Automotive skills, including working with ADAS components, wheel alignment systems, and vehicle diagnostics tools. Ability to perform precise Inspection tasks, including verifying calibrations, documenting results, and confirming OEM compliance. Experience using OEM or equivalent diagnostic and calibration equipment for ADAS and alignment work. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards. Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with shop teams, service advisors, and management. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in automotive technology is preferred. Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout the workday, and follow all workplace safety guidelines. Prior experience in an alignment, body shop, or dealership environment is a plus.
