Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of various instrumentation and control systems. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, calibration, and customer service, as well as the ability to work independently in the field. The Instrument Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment reliability and performance while providing exceptional service to our clients. Performance Bonus Structure Available Responsibilities Perform field service tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems. Detect and troubleshoot issues with various equipment, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. Calibrate instruments and sensors to ensure accurate measurements and optimal performance. Work with electrical systems, including low voltage applications, to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize vision inspection systems for quality assurance processes. Collaborate with engineering teams on E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) projects. Operate and maintain logic controllers as required. Experience Proven experience in field service roles related to instrumentation or electrical systems is preferred. Familiarity with calibration processes and troubleshooting techniques for various types of instruments like flow meters, level sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc. Experience with industrial automation brands like Endress & Hauser, ABB, Honeywell, Spectra, Siemens, etc. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to necessary parties. Experience working with Studio 5000, Contrologix, FactoryTalk, Ignition, etc. Knowledge of low voltage systems and logic controllers is advantageous.
