About the Opportunity We are partnering with a specialized emergency vehicle manufacturer to hire a Master 12-Volt Electrical Technician to lead advanced diagnostics, wiring, and electrical system integration on emergency response vehicles. This is a high-level role for an experienced automotive electrical professional who is comfortable diagnosing complex wiring issues, working without full schematics when necessary, and ensuring electrical systems operate reliably in mission-critical vehicles such as ambulances and rescue units. For the right candidate, relocation assistance is available to support a move to the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. This role offers top-of-market pay for experienced 12V specialists and the opportunity to work on purpose-driven vehicles that serve EMS and first responders across multiple states. What You'll Be Doing This role focuses on advanced 12-volt electrical diagnostics and system integration .
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnosing complex 12-volt electrical issues in emergency response vehicles Troubleshooting power, ground, relay, and harness problems Installing and configuring electrical systems including lighting, warning systems, switch panels, and control modules Performing advanced diagnostics using multimeters and electrical testing equipment Adapting wiring systems during vehicle remounts (transferring ambulance boxes onto new chassis) Designing and modifying wiring solutions when schematics are incomplete or unavailable Mentoring junior technicians and helping elevate shop electrical standards Ensuring all electrical systems meet safety and operational requirements before vehicles leave production This role works closely with mechanical technicians, welders, and production teams within a hands-on manufacturing environment . Ideal Background We are looking for a true 12-volt electrical expert with deep diagnostic ability.
