Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Powersports Technician - II, where your expertise will drive the repair and maintenance of a wide range of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and other recreational engines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced mechanical skills, utilize diagnostic tools, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a key player in our service department, you will ensure that every vehicle is operating at peak performance, providing riders with safe, reliable, and exhilarating experiences. Your energetic approach and technical proficiency will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in powersports repair and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on powersports engines and mechanical systems using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Conduct repairs on engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to complete repairs and rebuilds. Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues such as engine performance problems, electrical faults, and suspension concerns to identify root causes quickly. Repair or replace parts including brake systems, suspension components, engine assemblies, and other critical elements to ensure optimal vehicle operation. Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, providing recommendations for maintenance or upgrades, and ensuring a positive service experience. Lift heavy components safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury or damage. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings to support quality control and warranty processes. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on powersports or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension setups, and brake repair. Skilled in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with motorcycle operation and all-terrain vehicle repair techniques. Proficiency with basic vehicle troubleshooting methods to identify issues efficiently. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively during repairs or assembly tasks. Experience with welding, soldering, and heavy lifting required for complex repairs or component replacements. Excellent customer service skills combined with sales aptitude to recommend maintenance or upgrades confidently. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
