To maintain a high level of customer service while repairing, servicing inspecting and maintaining facilities and equipment and to perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner, within Company policy.
Essential Job Functions:
The essential job functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform general routine inspections of premises and equipment reporting any abnormalities and hazards immediately. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment which may include disassembling and assembling equipment. Handle basic repairs and maintenance on buildings and equipment including basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and/or HVAC Replace all refrigerated exterior parts including (but not limited to) refrigerated cases and other miscellaneous items as needed. Clean all return air grills on all cases and wipe down if required. Vacuum all self-contained condensers on a monthly basis Change all filters on combi ovens, inferno 3500 and any other equipment on a quarterly basis Repair/replace ceiling tiles Mount objects to and repair or construct internal walls Replace light bulbs in cases, sales floor and in the back rooms ensuring proper storage in accordance with Environmental regulations. Replace curtain strips and fan covers in all walk-in coolers and freezers Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs Recommend repairs or procedures that are beyond the scope of responsibilities, skill or experience. Ensure that all applicable fire, safety health and environmental regulations and laws are observed at all times. Operate and maintain, in a safe and operational condition, all tools and equipment necessary to carry out job functions and responsibilities. Immediately report any damage or vandalism to facilities or theft of equipment May be required to travel to other locations on an as needed basis. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation required Minimum of 3 years of buildings and grounds maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language. Ability to perform basic math skills. Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift. Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs. Must be able to use basic power tools, rulers, calipers, and other similar hand tools Ability to work in varying temperatures inside and outside the building Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas. Ability to work in refrigerated coolers and high moisture rooms for extended periods of time. Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
NOTE:
ASSOCIATES MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO OPERATE BAILERS, HI-LOS, POWER JACKS AND SLICING MACHINES.
