  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and problem-solving are highly valued. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment, HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and building interior components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure continuous operation. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks to maintain the facility's appearance and functionality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and document repairs with detailed reports. Assist with the installation, repair, and replacement of electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards. Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex maintenance projects while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants to resolve issues efficiently and improve customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills with hand tools, schematics, electrical equipment repair tools like ohmmeters, and maintenance painting techniques. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems (including repair and troubleshooting), plumbing systems (maintenance and repair), and electrical work. Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks effectively with team members and clients. Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team. Certifications or training in welding, electrical work, HVAC system repair, or plumbing are highly desirable.
