The position requires hands-on problem solving, collaboration with engineering and production teams, and the ability to travel as needed to support equipment installation, startup, and service activities. Responsibilities Program, troubleshoot, and support automated equipment using PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms. Support setup, operation, programming, and troubleshooting of robotic systems and automated work cells. Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical controls, sensors, actuators, drives, pneumatics, mechanical assemblies, and production equipment. Interpret and work from electrical prints, schematics, panel layouts, mechanical drawings, and control documentation. Support equipment commissioning, startup, validation, and production readiness activities. Provide technical support to production operations to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Assist with mechanical assembly, wiring, panel work, pneumatic plumbing, and machine integration as required. Train and support maintenance technicians on equipment operation, troubleshooting methods, preventive maintenance, and safe work practices. Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, troubleshooting guides, equipment records, and control system notes. Work effectively with engineering, maintenance, operations, quality, and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and implement improvements. Travel as required to support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer or supplier activities. Qualifications Ideal candidate will have 1-5 years' experience in PLCs and / or Robotics programming (Associate's degree or greater from an accredited college or university, with an emphasis in engineering; Automation, Electro-Mechanical, or similar related degree is preferred). Electrical background is necessary
