Current Career Opportunities Depending on experience and business needs, candidates may be considered for positions such as: Industrial Maintenance Technician A Industrial Maintenance Technician B Electromechanical Technician Industrial Electrician PLC / Controls Engineer Maintenance Mechanic Electrical Controls Technician Automation Technician Maintenance Lead (future opportunities) Maintenance Supervisor (future opportunities) What You'll Be Doing Responsibilities vary by position but may include: Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment Diagnose electrical and control system issues Install and replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and other production equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems Install and troubleshoot sensors, drives, VFDs, and control panels Perform equipment changeovers and machine improvements Support production by minimizing downtime Document repairs and preventative maintenance activities Maintain a safe, organized work environment Participate in continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
Qualifications Ideal candidates may possess experience in one or more of the following: Industrial maintenance Electrical troubleshooting PLC programming or troubleshooting Mechanical maintenance Hydraulics Pneumatics Welding and fabrication Motors and motor controls Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Robotics and automation Conveyor systems HVAC or facility maintenance Industrial controls Preventative maintenance systems Education may include: Technical diploma Associate degree Apprenticeship Journeyman certification Equivalent work experience Experience That Transfers Well We welcome candidates from many skilled trades, including: Industrial Electrician Commercial Electrician Maintenance Technician Millwright Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment Mechanic Automotive Technician HVAC Technician PLC Programmer Automation Technician Controls Technician Field Service Technician Machine Builder Manufacturing Maintenance Paper Mill Maintenance Food Processing Maintenance Foundry Maintenance Steel or Metal Manufacturing Construction Electrician Marine Mechanic Military Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance If you enjoy diagnosing problems and fixing equipment, your skills may transfer well to our manufacturing environment.
