Are you technically curious and passionate about product testing and validation? We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring new and existing products meet design specifications and quality standards through hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration with both internal teams and external testing laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct performance, functionality, and validation testing on new and existing products to verify compliance with engineering design requirements.
Document test procedures, results, observations, and conclusions in clear, accurate, and professional technical reports.
Analyze test data and communicate findings to the engineering team.
Coordinate testing activities with external laboratories, including scheduling tests and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
Work closely with engineers to understand product requirements and testing objectives.
Maintain organized records of testing activities and results.
Assist with troubleshooting products and identifying opportunities for design improvements.
Ensure testing is completed safely, accurately, and within established project timelines.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering concepts and product designs.
Experience performing product testing, validation, or quality testing is preferred.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with engineering staff and outside testing laboratories.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with data collection and reporting tools is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
