Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) We are partnering with a well-established, employee-focused engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing MEP team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Professional Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working on mission-critical facilities in healthcare, research, laboratory, federal, and other highly specialized markets. What You'll Do As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead electrical system design efforts and support project teams through all phases of design and construction. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that designs meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. Lead the design and development of electrical systems from concept through final construction documentation. Perform electrical engineering analyses and calculations to support system design and performance. Develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges across multiple project @types. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery. Review and apply applicable local, state, and federal codes and standards related to electrical system design. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers within the MEP department. Participate in design reviews and support construction-phase services as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 8+ years of experience in electrical system design. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing in the state where the position is based (or ability to obtain). Experience designing electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and bonding, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems such as telecommunications, paging, and nurse call. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with electrical analysis software such as SKM and lighting photometric software such as Visual. Experience with healthcare or federal projects is strongly preferred but not required. Why This Opportunity?
