This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, requiring expertise in electrical system design, system integration, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical and control system design efforts for complex robotic and electromechanical systems.
Develop system architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface designs.
Perform electrical analysis, simulation, integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
Lead design reviews and provide technical direction throughout project execution.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Select, size, and integrate electrical and electronic components, power systems, and control hardware.
Design and implement communication interfaces including Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team.
Support hands-on assembly, integration, validation, and field testing activities.
Ensure designs meet applicable engineering, safety, and industry standards. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience designing and developing complex electrical, electromechanical, automated, or robotic systems.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience with electrical system design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of DC power systems, power distribution, and energy requirement calculations.
Experience designing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable drawings, and system block diagrams.
Knowledge of EMI mitigation, grounding, shielding, wiring, and cabling best practices.
