Job Description

Electrical Engineer -
Power Systems & Magnetics Salary:
$100,000 - $125,000 We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a team focused on the design and development of power conversion and magnetic products. In this role, you'll work on low, medium, and high voltage transformers, inductors, power distribution units, and related products that support a wide range of industrial, medical, aerospace, defense, and other high-performance applications. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and project ownership. You'll work closely with manufacturing, sales, procurement, and other engineering teams to bring products from concept through production while ensuring they meet customer and industry requirements. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing electrical systems, developing product specifications, creating manufacturing documentation, and supporting product testing and validation efforts. You'll also help troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, conduct reliability and risk assessments, and work directly with customers when needed to ensure successful project outcomes. As part of the engineering team, you'll contribute to improving manufacturing processes and may provide technical support and guidance to less experienced engineers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience designing medium or high voltage electrical systems. Experience with transformers, inductors, or power conversion products is strongly preferred, along with a solid understanding of electrical components and power system design. Familiarity with industry standards and certifications such as UL, CSA, VDE, and CE is a plus. Experience with engineering software such as Cadence, Creo, Rale, or similar design tools is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, communicate effectively across teams, and be comfortable managing multiple projects in a collaborative environment. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
