Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, specifically in the Huntington, WV area, to provide professional engineering and construction management support for healthcare facility modernization and construction projects. Mechanical Engineer Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Minimum of 6 years of professional mechanical engineering experience. Minimum of 3 years of field construction management, construction administration, or construction oversight experience. Experience supporting both design and construction phases of facility projects. Experience with mechanical systems for complex facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, ventilation, utility, and related infrastructure systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical code compliance, construction standards, quality assurance practices, and inspection procedures. Electrical Engineer Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Minimum of 6 years of professional electrical engineering experience. Minimum of 3 years of field construction management, construction administration, or construction oversight experience. Experience supporting both design and construction phases of facility projects. Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred but not required. Experience with electrical systems for complex facilities, including normal and emergency power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, telecommunications infrastructure, low-voltage systems, and grounding systems. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA standards, electrical construction practices, quality assurance procedures, and inspection requirements.
