Waldoch Crafts is seeking a full-time RV Electrical Installer to build, install, troubleshoot, and service electrical systems in custom RVs, camper vans, and specialty vehicles. This position is ideal for an experienced technician with a strong understanding of DC and AC electrical systems, including voltage, amperage, wattage calculations, Ohm's Law, power conversions, battery systems, solar integration, and electrical diagnostics. The successful candidate will take pride in producing high-quality work while helping create reliable, safe, and innovative recreational vehicles for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, wire, test, and service 12V DC and 120V AC electrical systems in RVs and specialty vehicles. Perform wiring of battery banks, inverters, converters, chargers, solar systems, distribution panels, lighting, and electronic accessories. Apply knowledge of wattage, amperage, voltage, resistance, Ohm's Law, and electrical load calculations to ensure proper system functionality. Measure, test, and troubleshoot electrical circuits using multimeters, test equipment, wiring schematics, and diagnostic tools. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions. Assist with installation and troubleshooting of HVAC controls, appliance wiring, entertainment systems, and other RV electrical components. Ensure all electrical installations meet company quality standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices. Maintain accurate documentation of electrical installations, repairs, and testing procedures. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and service teams to complete projects efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in RV, marine, automotive, manufacturing, electrical, or custom vehicle industries preferred. Strong understanding of electrical principles including voltage, amperage, wattage, resistance, Ohm's Law, and power conversion calculations. Experience installing and troubleshooting 12V DC and 120V AC systems. Knowledge of battery systems, lithium batteries, solar charging systems, inverters, converters, and related components preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Electrical certifications, RV certifications, or technical education may put you ahead of other candidates. Reliable ability to commute to Forest Lake, MN for in-person work.

Professional electrical, RV, automotive, marine, or manufacturing experience: 2 years (Preferred) Electrical troubleshooting and installation: 1 year (Required)
