From $42 per hour Job position: PLC Programmer Job description Only candidates with PLC/Ladder Logic programming training and experience will be considered with the exception of candidates possessing strong networking/server experience who may be considered on a case-by-case basis, possibly at a lower rate of compensation. M.E.T. is seeking a PLC/Ladder Logic Programmer with at least 2 years of experience. Applicants must be able to write and troubleshoot ladder logic/PLC programs for: duplex and triplex pump control stations, water and wastewater plants, and canal gate control stations. The ideal candidate will possess education/certification/experience in: Preferred Skills Programming Allen-Bradley software (Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk Optix, FactoryTalk View) Experience with HMI/graphics software Troubleshooting Ability to read CAD drawings Required Skills Programming in competitive brands of PLC's, OIT's, HMI's Adaptability Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Radio networks Ethernet networks and servers Ability to self-educate Fiber optics installation/testing/termination to patch panels Additional Responsibilities Manage small to medium-sized projects. Install panels and instrumentation. Perform service trips to troubleshoot, repair, and replace instrumentation or faulty panel equipment. Comfortable working at heights Who You Will Be Working For Founded in 1996, M.E.T. Automation & Controls has grown to become the most active Water, Wastewater, and Irrigation District Systems Integrator in Montana. Based in East Helena, M.E.T. serves the entire state. Projects range from single lift station retrofits to the design and construction of full plant SCADA systems.
