In this role, you will design overhead and underground power distribution, prepare construction drawings and work orders, perform field data collection, and apply NESC and utility standards to ensure safe, reliable designs. Responsibilities Design overhead and underground power distribution for utility and energy clients. Prepare detailed construction drawings, work orders, and bills of materials. Apply NESC, utility standards, and safety requirements to all designs. Conduct field visits to collect site data, verify existing conditions, and support constructability. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and GIS staff to integrate design and spatial data. Coordinate with clients to clarify scope, resolve design issues, and accommodate schedule needs. Review designs for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and client standards. Support project managers with estimates, schedules, and project documentation. Maintain organized design files, records, and as-built updates. Participate in continuous improvement, training, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
