Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team and lead the design of fire protection systems for a variety of projects throughout Texas. This position is ideal for a skilled designer who can manage multiple projects, coordinate effectively with project teams and authorities, and provide technical guidance to junior designers. The Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for developing accurate, code-compliant fire sprinkler designs from initial planning through installation while ensuring projects meet applicable NFPA standards and Texas fire protection codes . Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA 13 and Texas codes. Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and permit submittals. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and AHJs. Lead design efforts across multiple projects. Support projects from initial design through installation. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers. Ensure designs are accurate, compliant, and completed on schedule. Qualifications 5+ years of fire sprinkler design experience. Proficiency with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, AutoCAD, and/or Revit. Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and related fire protection standards. Experience with hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, and permitting. Strong communication and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. NICET Level III or IV certification preferred. Compensation & Benefits Salary:
35-45$ (hourly) dependent on experience
