We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Control Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems across diverse industrial and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of control systems utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers such as ARM and Arduino, and embedded firmware solutions. Develop detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and system diagrams using CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Perform system testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and validation to ensure reliable operation of control systems in manufacturing settings. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate signal processing, vision inspection systems, and communications systems into comprehensive automation solutions. Manage project scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of engineering milestones while maintaining adherence to electrical building codes (NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards. Conduct simulation modeling using MATLAB, Simulink, or SystemVerilog to verify system performance prior to deployment. Provide technical leadership in electronics design including surface mount technology (SMT), circuit design, soldering techniques, and firmware development using Python, C++, Perl, or scripting languages. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field with proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role. Extensive knowledge of electrical system design, electronics design principles, and industrial automation practices. Hands-on experience with FPGA development, SoC architectures, and programming languages such as C++, Python, and SystemVerilog for control applications. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Revit), simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink), and electrical schematic design tools. Strong troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis for complex electrical or control system failures. Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, circuit debugging tools like ohmmeters, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC standards and NFPA 70 regulations applicable to industrial environments. Experience designing PCB layouts for manufacturing using CAD software; understanding of PCB fabrication processes is a plus. Ability to develop system verification plans through simulation tools; experience with firmware development for embedded systems is highly desirable.
