Data Center Energy Marshal 5 | Des Moines, IA Our client, a leading technology company in the data center construction industry, is seeking a Data Center Energy Marshal 5 to join their team. As a Data Center Energy Marshal, you will be part of the Data Center Construction team supporting site operations, commissioning teams, contractors, and vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical safety expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive compliance and continuous improvement within a complex construction environment.

$83.14 - $89.54/hour What's the Job? Manage and oversee the Energy Isolation Program to ensure compliance with Microsoft safety standards and SPS-101 requirements. Conduct field reviews of electrical installations and perform quality and safety audits related to energy isolation activities. Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to establish and maintain Energy Isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) processes. Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings and review SoWs, MOPs, and procedures to identify all energy sources. Serve as a subject matter expert on Energy Isolation practices and stop unsafe work when necessary to maintain a safe work environment. What's Needed? Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety practices and energy isolation programs. Journeyman Electrical License with at least 5 years of relevant field experience. Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, especially electrical one-line diagrams, with 5+ years of experience. Experience with data center construction, commissioning standards, and energy isolation requirements. Strong communication, auditing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
