Engineering Manager:
Manages the daily operations of all major AnMed facility systems and coordinates engineering functions to ensure continuous, 24/7 support across all locations. Maximizes available resources to deliver high-quality engineering services, maintain operational reliability, and support a safe and efficient care environment. Duties & Responsibilities Provides leadership and operational oversight for the Engineering Department, ensuring continuity of departmental functions, decision-making, and service delivery. Leads construction projects. Responsible for maintaining the operations budget for the department. Ensures ongoing support of DNV and DHEC compliance initiatives by promoting survey readiness, regulatory adherence, and timely resolution of identified issues. Conducts fair and impartial evaluations and counseling of subordinates. Maintains open communication with the Department Director regarding operational challenges, progress toward resolution and key departmental updates while ensuring clear, consistent and effective communication between team leaders and staff. Actively responds to changing priorities as may be required to meet changing departmental and/or organizational goals and needs, modifying work schedules and services as the situation may dictate. Qualifications Associate's Degree required. Ten (10) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Masters Licensure in HVAC preferred. Electrical and Plumbing experience preferred OR Industrial maintenance with fifteen (15) years' experience in general maintenance preferred.
