Join our best-in-class team today through the following opportunity: Job Functions / Responsibilities Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous engineering efforts for new product development projects Review new product design concepts, 3D models, and drawings for manufacturability Create and maintain project schedules for new product introduction to PEC Assist process engineers with documenting manufacturing processes for new product: SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, layout studies, cycle time analyses, financial analyses Specify new tools, equipment, packaging, and other resources prior to new product launch Implement process changes on time and within the budget for new product launch Implement equipment and automation changes by managing order specification, engineering design, and acceptance testing from 3rd party vendors. Qualifications & Skills Required B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) Experience with Visual Management/Project Management Tools Experience in complex machining, assembly, and project engineering assignments Proven problem-solving skills Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals Desired 3-5 years experience in powertrain manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or new product launch Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies Experience in a simultaneous engineering-style project environment PACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
