IS THE TIME!
!! The position is for a Civil Engineer specializing in all aspects of an Engineering practice including Residential and Commercial Land Development as well as the design of Public Utilities (municipally owned water and sanitary sewer) systems. This is a management-level position requiring PE licensure and no fewer than 15 years of experience relevant to project management, client management, and design elements associated with Land Development and Utilities projects. The candidate will be responsible for a range of items including effective leadership of a design team, project management, tracking a range of projects simultaneously, and managing the on-call contract needs of multiple municipal clients. Key attributes are the candidate's organizational skills, ability to problem-solve, work independently, evaluate various conditions efficiently and effectively, and demonstrate a common-sense approach to design. At least 15 years of relevant experience is required. Knowledge of current AutoCAD Civil3D 2024 is necessary.
Required Qualifications:
15 years of direct, relevant work experience BS in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) licensure Possess a sound knowledge of all elements of plan development Exceptional oral and written communication skills Capacity to solve technical problems with innovative and economical solutions Highly motivated, independently productive, and a capable leader
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience in the greater Fredericksburg region Proficiency in current release of AutoCAD Civil3D Participation in professional societies and extracurricular activities
