Job Description

Sr. Engineering Project Manager (Hybrid) Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Sr. Engineering Project Manager for their Vancouver, Washington location. This position will provide both Business Analysis and Project Management for the Transmission Engineering Policy & Governance organization. Project management requirements alone do not necessitate a dedicated full-time resource, so these responsibilities are being integrated with business analysis into a single, cohesive role. This role is strategically designed to provide the analytical support needed to establish the new function, implement key initiatives, and establish performance metrics to monitor and measure ongoing success. Provide project management expertise and guidance to cross-organizational project teams working to successfully complete program improvement projects and initiatives in support of the development, implementation, and operation of the standards QA/QC function. Requirements/Qualifications for Sr.

Engineering Project Manager:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management, Organization Development, Computer Science, Communications or a closely related technical field is preferred. With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience is required. With a Bachelor's degree not in applicable fields, 12 years of experience is required. Without a Bachelor's degree, 14 years of experience is required. Experience must include direct work experience in an engineering project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Certification in Prosci ADKAR model, or related Change Management methodology required. 6+ years of experience using the project management body of knowledge standards and associated tools to successfully lead multiple concurrent projects within a program. 6+ years of experience analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems. Experience writing and understanding functional and technical specifications. Experience with developing project schedule timelines to reflect major tasks (planning, design, procurement, construction, testing). Experience with SharePoint, Visio, and MS Project. Experience with / in Process Development. Knowledge and skills in business analysis, implementation, and support of large application projects. Experienced and effective in oral communication with demonstrated skills in facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution among various stakeholders.
