Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Mitigation Supervisor/Technician to join our team. This vital role involves serving as a primary responder for customers needing immediate emergency service to mitigate property loss. This primary contact position requires competent assessment and decisive decision-making while onboarding the property loss emergency. This position requires responding to emergency restoration needs, performing water, fire, mold, and flood remediation, and ensuring safe, effective property restoration. The ideal candidate will possess IICRC certifications in these related services. The best candidate must be prepared for on-call situations, follow strict safety protocols, and have a strong commitment to customer service. Experience in the restoration industry, construction, or related fields is highly valued. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and techniques in a dynamic environment focused on restoring properties and peace of mind for our clients. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and flood restoration projects. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and debris removal using appropriate tools and methods. Operate power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely and efficiently during restoration projects. Conduct fire restoration activities such as soot removal and structural cleaning. Execute mold abatement procedures following industry standards to ensure safe removal and containment. Manage asbestos abatement projects in compliance with safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection during hazardous tasks. Apply Xactimate software for estimating damages and project scope documentation. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Assist with construction-related repairs or modifications as needed during restoration processes. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used throughout each project. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws. Skills Emergency response readiness with the ability to act swiftly under pressure. Extensive knowledge of water damage restoration, flood response, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and septic cleanup procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, Xactimate estimating software, and carpet cleaning equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection measures. Experience with construction or renovation work is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely in various conditions. On-call coverage availability for emergency response at any time outside regular working hours. This position requires a proactive individual committed to safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service in the restoration industry.
